KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 8 – No influenza A (H1N1) deaths have been reported for three weeks running, Director-General of Health Tan Sri Dr Mohd Ismail Merican said.
He said 228 patients with Influenza Like Illness (ILI) were admitted to hospital for treatment while 183 others were discharged today.
The ILI patients under treatment nationwide stood at 814 with 34 confirmed H1N1 cases.
The Health Ministry announce that all 13 years old girls will be vaccinated with the Human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination starting next year. Around 300,000 girls in the country is reported to get three doses of the vaccine against the cervical cancer. The government will spend RM150 million annually for the vaccine.
